Lobo Estepario

Merquei o Lobo Estepario hai xa moitos anos. Lembroo ben, foi nun deses postos de libreiros que ano tras ano traen os mesmos libros ás festas patronais da vila. Foi un deses libros que se mercan polo suxerente do título, sen máis. E así quedou durante tempo á sombra doutras lecturas máis apetecibles.
Sei que algunha vez o comecei a ler, sen embargo, nunca o cheguei a rematar...

Logo coñecín a alguén que me falou (e me segue falando del)...
Decidín enfrontarme a el de novo, collino do andel, sopleille un pouco para que perdese un pouco de pó e barola e abrino. No medio, a xeito de marcador, atopei unha carta.

A carta está datada nun lugar onde os castiñeiros e os carballos medran libres como o argazo polo area da praia. Dentro do sobre hai follas de fieitos e doutras plantas que no acho a distinguir. Tamén había un papeliño, cunhas letras:

durmen silandeiros nas bolsas dos carteiros
están ocultos detrás dun sello
vixían dende os sobres
albiscan parapetados nun telegrama
e só saen para quen cre neles.
A veces é un mencer mariñeiro,
a veces uns anaquiños de monte.
