Monumentos da Ítaca II: O monolito

Nome: Monolito do alcalde (non ten nada que ver co monolito de Carlos Pumares).

Localización: Praza do concello da Ítaca, moi pretiño da estatua do cardiólogho

Datos de interese: Monolito dedicado a un modesto alcalde-presidente da Ítaca. A erección de tan fálico monumento foi sufragada, a escote, por todas as asociacións (deportivas, veciñais, culturais,...) da vila, todas excepto a R.e I. Cofradía da Dorna. Con este monumento preténdese recoñecer a grande labor política, “moito mira por nós”, que fixo o alcalde homenaxeado.
Ah, non pensen que o monumento foi erixido noutros tempos, nin que as asociacións pertencen ao sindicato vertical : foi plantado hai só 2 anos.

Señor Paleón, solo definir un pouco, Houbo outras duas asociacions que non deron un peso. A Republica do Termo e a AFP. E tamen decirlle que esta vostede equivocado, O Monolito en realidade e unha homenaxe a Stanley Kubrick polo seu trabalho en 2001, Unha Odisea Espacial, soio que non o dixeron asi, posto que a maioria non o entenderian. Unha vez púxenme a contar as asociacións promotoras desta erección fálica, e se non lembro mal eran máis de 70 (nunha vila como Ítaca máis de 70 asociacións!!! [ademais das que non participaron na homenaxe]).

Que bonitas son as subvencións, o caciquismo, as asociacións pantasma, o servilismo, os clubs náuticos, as amas de casa, o xantar de balde con cartos públicos, os serviles poetas que lles cantan aos seus superiores, etc.

Postos a dar ideas para o coleccionable..., non se debe esquecer, señor Paleón, dese agasallo que Ítaca recibiu da vila coa que está irmandada, a fermosa pedra (sen forma, ou mellor dito, con forma de pedra) inaugurada con gaitas, empanada, conselleiros/as, concelleiras/os, bailes "regionales", etc.

Disculpa que non escriba en galego, os doerian os ollos cas faltas...
Bien, el caso es que -ignorante de mi- no sabía que en Rianxo había habido un campo de concentración franquista... Y hoy, que mi padre me enseñó las diapos lo descubrí, junto con un monumento a los caídos republicanos (con bandera rojigualda incluida...) Y pensé en esta serie tuya de post... Si te interesan las fotos, ya te pasaré ficheros...

Graciñas, si que as quero si. Ao mellor non para a serie de monumentos da Ítaca pero si para outras cousas que teño en mente. Sabía da existencia do campo de concentración en Rianxo por medio dun artigo que saíu na Voz de hai un ano. Hai unhas semanas houbo unhas xornadas no Son sobre a memoria histórica nas que tamén se falou do tema.
